Playoff Game Preview: Guelph Storm vs Soo Greyhounds
The Storm are back at home at the Sleeman Centre for game 3 of the first round of the playoffs against the Soo Greyhounds. The puck drops at 7:00pm.
The Storm come into tonight down 0-2 in the series after losing 4-1 on the weekend in the Soo. Jake Karabela was able to find the Storms first goal of the postseason Saturday night. Tonight will be a big game as Guelph look to avoid going down 3-0 in the series. A strong part for the team has been its penalty killing which currently sits at 85.71%. Look for a hard fought game tonight as the Storm take on the Greyhounds.
The Greyhounds come to Guelph up 2-0 in the series and will be looking to take a 3-0 series lead tonight. The Soo have also had strong success on their penalty kill as they have a current percentage of 88.89, however the top power play in the regular season hasn’t found the success they would have expected. Only being 14.3% on the power play is a low point to the Greyhounds postseason so far. Watch out for them tonight as they look to get a win in Guelph.
