Job Description
The Guelph Storm are seeking an energetic and outgoing individual who is passionate about sports and fan engagement. As a member of the Guelph Storm Hockey Club, you will be actively involved in our game day experience and select community events.
Job Duties
- Embody the character of Spyke as you interact with fans and participate in game-day promotions
- Positively add to the game day experience by creating an exciting atmosphere for fans
- Ensure proper care of the mascot costume following games and events
- Assist in both in-stand and on-ice promotions during games, as well as various media as needed
Position Requirements
- Outgoing personality with a passion for entertaining
- Previous experience as a mascot is preferred, but not required
- Must be available for all Guelph Storm home games (regular season and playoffs as needed)
- Strong skating ability
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work with the public, especially children
