Game Preview: Guelph Storm vs Windsor Spitfires
The Storm play their final game of the 2021-22 season tonight at home as the Windsor Spitfires visit the Sleeman Centre. The puck drops at 7:00pm.
The Storm play the second of two games this weekend as they take on the Spitfires for the 7th and final time this season. Last night Guelph was able to defeat the Kitchener Rangers in overtime by a score of 3-2, with the win the team has clinched the 5th spot in the western conference standings. The Storm currently have a record of 35-24-5-3 and are on a 3-game win streak heading into tonight.
Windsor come into tonights game on a 13-game point streak as they most recently lost in overtime to the Erie Otters last night. After losing 3-2 last night the teams record now stands at 44-16-4-3 which has clinched them the top seed in the western conference. Windsor Spitfires – Will Cuylle
The New York Rangers second round pick in 2020 has paired well with Wyatt Johnston on the Spitfire top line to be a great offensive combo. With 43 goals and 37 assists for a total of 80 points in 59 games played, the Spitfires captain has been a player to watch for them all season.
