“We were good yesterday, played the right way yesterday. We built on yesterday’s game for today.” Said Steelheads bench boss James Richmond about Saturday’s strong effort.
The Frontenacs (25-26-2-0) could not get much going all game. Jax Dubois got them on the board in the second with his 20th of the year, and Christopher Thibodeau scored in the final minute.

Less than three minutes into the third period, Sharpe launched a powerful shot that Vaccaro couldn’t stop, stretching the Trout’s lead to 4-1.
