The Windsor Spitfires bounced back in a dominant fashion Friday night with a 11-3 victory over the Owen Sound Attack, putting the previous night’s game in the past.

The Spitfires continued to apply the pressure with McLaughlin netting the second of the game at 1:05, finishing the first frame up by 2.

Owen Sound was able to break through Jake Windbiel’s wall at 17:20 with Caden Bell getting the Attack their first of the night.
Heading into the third up by five, the Spitfires weren’t done with scoring for the night adding 5 more goals to cap off the game. Svrcek scored his second of the night at 4:20 with McLaughlin following just nine seconds later to bring Windsor’s lead to seven. Brocklehurst’s dominance was felt as he struck twice in quick succession to complete his hat trick.
The Attack managed to find the back of the net twice more off of goals from Max Delisle and Julian Brown, but the deficit was too much to overcome. The Spitfires continued to produce offence late into the third with Ty Bergeron scoring his first career goal at 18:16 to cap off the scoring for the night. The final score; 11-3.
