Game Preview: Attack Visit Spitfires on Thursday
Windsor, ON – The Spitfires are running out of time as another point slipped away on Sunday afternoon. Windsor fell to the hands of the Spirit by a score of 6-5 in the final 10 seconds of the game. The Spitfires will have to put it in their rear-view mirror and turn their focus to the Owen Sound Attack. Puck drop is set for 7:05 pm in Windsor at The WFCU Centre.

Head-to-Head:
The Spitfires head into Thursday’s game placed last in the OHL’s Western Conference with a 4-13-1-0 record. The Owen Sound Attack are currently placed 9th in the conference with a 7-9-2-0 record. Most recently, they faced the Mississauga Steelheads at home where they lost 5-2.
Thursday’s contest will be the first of four meetings this season between the two clubs. Over the past five seasons, the Spitfires are 10-4-3-0 overall against the Attack and 6-2-1-0 in Windsor.
The last time the two teams met was last year on February 5th 2024 at the WFCU Centre. The Spitfires won convincingly 8-1 in front of 4536 fans.
