Rangers Shoot Down Spitfires
Kitchener, ON: Michael Richards and Jesse Boucher collected four points each tonight fueling the Rangers to a 5-4 overtime win over the visiting Windsor Spitfires.

The Spitfires jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on Rob Hennigar’s 18th goal of the season. The power play goal came at 2:26 of the period.

Jesse Boucher tied the game at 1-1 with a power play goal, his 9th of the season at 9:38. Adam Keefe put the Rangers up 2-1 with his 6th of the year at 17:06.

The Rangers outshot the Spitfires 22-3 in the period.

In the second period they built up a 4-2 lead on goals by Michael Richards and Matt Lashoff. The Spitfires responded with two goals of their own to cut the lead to 4-3 after forty minutes of play.

Rob Hennigar scored his second goal of the game at 17:37 to send the game into overtime.

Craig Voakes scored the game winner at 2:10 to send the Rangers to their 9th game in a row without a defeat.
