OHL Draft Set For Saturday

Kitchener, ON: The 2005 OHL Priority Selection will once again take place live on the internet on Saturday, May 7th beginning at 9 a.m.

This year the Oshawa Generals have the first pick overall in the draft and are expected to select John Tavares of the Toronto Marlies (Minor Midget).

Last season the Rangers selected centre Justin Azevedo with their first round pick, 14th overall from the Chatham Maroons (Jr. B). In his rookie season Azevedo scored 18 goals and added 21 assists in 58 games.

This season the Rangers hold the 18th overall selection and have a total of 16 picks in the 15 round draft.

As was the case last season, each of the Rangers selections will be updated live on the Rangers official website www.kitchenerrangers.com.

Rangers coaches and scouting staff will be on hand throughout the day to talk about each of the Rangers selections.
