The Michael Pappert Memorial Trophy is awarded to the Rangers top rookie. Selected in the fifth round, 97th overall, of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection Jason Schaubel made an impression during his first season as a blueshirt sharing the net with CHL Goaltender of the Year, Jackson Parsons. This six-foot, Barrie native backstopper ended the regular season with a 3.40 GAA, .878 save percentage in 18 games played.
