Fans Encouraged To Wear Red Friday Night
In the spirit of Remembrance Day the Rangers are asking fans to wear red to the game Friday night (November 3).
The game will also mark the 2nd annual Remembrance Day jersey auction. Throughout the game a silent auction will take place for all of the jerseys in the north concourse. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the 78th Fraser Highlanders Fort Conestoga Garrison and the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
DASILVA NETS FOUR AS ICE TAME TIGERS — Steve DaSilva scored four goals and added an assist to lead the Kootenay Ice to a 6-4 victory over the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers in Western Hockey League action on Wednesday, February 27th.
Arnaud Jacquemet scored once and chipped in three assists and Michael Stickland also counted for the Ice (38-20-5-2), who have won three straight and nine of their last 11 games, while Dustin Sylvester picked up five assists. Thomas Heemskerk made 20 saves to record the win after replacing starter Kris Lazaruk, who allowed three goals on eight shots through the first 20:54 of the contest. The win moves the ice into sole possession of fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
Daine Todd scored three goals and Tyler Ennis botched a goal and an assist for the Tigers (37-20-5-2), who saw a 3-1 lead slip away and saw a four-game win streak halted. Tomas Vosvrda and Ryan Holfeld combined for 26 saves in the defeat. The loss leaves the Tigers two points behind the Ice for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

Judd Blackwater scored twice and added an assist as the visiting Spokane Chiefs skated to a 5-2 victory over the Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday.
David Rutherford with a goal and an assist Justin McCrae and Tyler Johnson also scored for the Chiefs (44-14-1-5), who sweep the four-game season series versus the Rockets, while Levko Koper and Ondrej Roman each chipped in two helpers. Dustin Tokarski made 33 saves to record the win. The victory keeps the Chiefs tied with Tri-City for first place in the U.S. Division, and moves them into a three-way tie with Vancouver for top spot in the Western Conference.
Colin Long and Milan Kyntar scored for the Rockets (34-22-2-6), who have dropped four of their last five games, while Kristofer Westblom made 26 saves in the loss. The defeat keeps the Rockets in fifth place in the Western Conference, and ensures rival Vancouver their third straight B.C. Division title.

Victor Bartley‘s 10th goal of the season with under two minutes to go in the third period lifted the Regina Pats to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Kamloops Blazers on Wednesday.

With the defeat, the Blazers still need one more point or for Prince George to drop one more point to clinch the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Juha Mestola stopped all 26 shots he faced to record his third shutout of the season as the visiting Lethbridge Hurricanes blanked the Prince Albert Raiders 4-0 on Wednesday.
