Zach Bogosian (2006-2008)
Bogosian arrived in Peterborough from Massachusetts in 2006. He became a fan favourite during his time in Peterborough and was drafted 3rd overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers (now the Winnipeg Jets), behind Steven Stamkos and Drew Doughty. He began his career in the NHL immediately, playing for the Thrashers and he also represented the United States at the 2009 World Hockey Championships. In 2020 as a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Bogosian helped the team capture their second Stanley Cup in franchise history, first in his career. Zach currently plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
