Scott Barney (1995-1999)
Barney was a fan favourite for the maroon and white. His rookie year included an OHL Championship, as well as a memorable Memorial Cup tournament in Peterborough. After graduating from the OHL and being drafted in 1997 by the Los Angeles Kings, Scott was kept out of hockey for three seasons because of a back injury. He went on to play for Grand Rapids, Hershey, Manchester and Chicago of the American Hockey League. After a brief stint with the Atlanta Thrashers, Scott took his career to Europe and continues to play pro hockey in Austria.
