Rob Wilson (1988-1989)

Rob joined the Petes for one season in 1988-1989. He was selected in the 12th round, 235th overall by Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. After his time in the NHL he would play in many pro leagues, with various teams over a 21 year span. He saw time in the BHL, ECHL, CoHL, CHL, BISL, Italy-A, BNL, EPL, and the EIHL. In 2005 he was a player-coach for the Newcastle Vipers of the EIHL and in 2012-2013 was the head coach of an Italy-A team. He continued coaching in the Italy-A League for three years before switching to the DEL where he is currently coaching.
