Petes beat Wolves 2-1

The Peterborough Petes came from behind to beat the Sudbury Wolves 2-1 on Saturday night in Sudbury.

The Wolves scored the lone goal of the first period as Josh McFadden beat Petes goalie Andrew D’Agostini 7:48 into the game.

After a scorelesss second period Austin Watson scored his 25th of the season for the Petes at 7:14 of the third period before Jack Walchessen scored the game winner at 14:08 to give the Petes the victory as they closed out a 3 games in 3 night weekend.

The Petes now host the Kingston Frontenacs on Thursday night at the PMC.
