Petes Acquire O’Hagan From Greyhounds
The Peterborough Petes have acquired veteran goaltender Bryce O’Hagan from the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in exchange for 3rd and 7th round draft picks in 2011 and a conditional 4th round selection in 2012 should O’Hagan play an overage season in the OHL.
O’Hagan, a 6’2” native of Burlington Ontario is in his fourth season in the OHL all with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. In six games this season Bryce is 2-4-0-0 with a 3.01 GAA and a .909 Save %.
“The Peterborough Petes are excited to add Bryce to our line up” says Petes General Manager David Reid. “Bryce is a quality individual both on and off the ice and we are looking forward to having him in our line up Thursday night when we host the Sarnia Sting.”
Bryce played for the Ontario Under 17 team at the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in 2008, and for Team Canada in the 2009 World Under 18 Championship. He is on the ice this afternoon in practice with the Petes.
