Glen Shirton (1963-1964)
Wainfleet, Ontario native Glen Shirton played only three games with the maroon and white in 1963. He was selected by the Montreal Canadiens the summer before that season, in the NHL Draft. After three more seasons of junior hockey (Chatham Maroons and London Nationals), he took the college route, playing hockey for Bowling Green State University for three seasons. He ended his career by playing a handful of professional hockey games in both the AHL and WHA.
