Dick Todd – Senior Advisor
Dick was named Senior Advisor to the Petes in January, 2013. He first joined the organization in the 1973 as a trainer and worked his way up the ranks before being named Head Coach during the 1980-81 season. Dick would continue as coach through the 1992-93 campaign, and in his tenure led the Petes to two J. Ross Robertson Cup OHL Championships (1988-89 and 1992-93), winning the Matt Leyden Trophy as OHL Coach of the Year in 1987-88. He went on to serve as Assistant Coach of the NHL’s New York Rangers, and won the Stanley Cup with the blueshirts in 1994. Dick retired in 1998 only to come back as Peterborough’s bench boss from 2004-2006, leading the maroon and white to one more OHL Championship in 2006. At the international level, he coached Team Canada to a gold medal at the 1991 World Junior Hockey Championships.
