Petes Mourn the Loss of Longtime PMC Employee Chris Fitzgerald
The Peterborough Petes are saddened to learn of the passing of longtime PMC employee, Christopher Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald passed away suddenly on August 4, 2023.
Christopher, or “Fitzy” as he was known around the PMC, was a fixture at Petes games for decades. His infectious smile could be seen regularly at the PMC whether it be a Petes game, another event, or local minor sports. Fitzgerald recently retired after over 33 years at the City of Peterborough. Chris’ witty and genuine personality was enjoyed by anyone who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him at the rink and in the community.
The entire Peterborough Petes organization sends their condolences to Chris’ family and friends, as well as to his co-workers at the City of Peterborough.
