Jeff MacDougald: Owen Sound Sports Hall of Fame Inductee

Former Petes goalie goalie Jeff MacDougald is being inducted into the Owen Sound Hall of Fame.
The Shallow Lake native played for the Owen Sound Greys junior-B team in 2001-2002 and was named league rookie of the year. He also lead Team Ontario to a bronze medal at the 2001 World Hockey Challenge.
MacDougald was drafted by the Petes in 2002. He was named the league’s Humanitarian of the year in 2005. He went 39-47-11 in four OHL seasons, three with Peterborough and one with Sarnia.
MacDougald went on to play at Wilfrid Laurier University where he set the record for most career wins by goalie with 51.
