The Peterborough Petes will look to even the Eastern Conference Quarter-Finals series in Game 2 tonight.
Petes found offence from their defensive core last game after Donovan McCoy and Brian Zanetti scored in their first OHL playoff appearance.
Seattle Kraken prospect Ryan Winterton leads the Bulldogs roster with three points, all assists.
Defenceman Gavin White (2A) and forward Logan Morrison (2G) are each tied with two points.
Emmett Sproule, who made his first post-season appearance after playing 252 regular season games, and J.R. Avon, each recorded one assist in Game 1.
Michael Simpson and Marco Costantini will battle each other in the blue paint.
Friendship set aside: Jonathan Melee and Mason McTavish, who were swapped at the OHL Trade Deadline, are facing their former teammates.
Hometown lad Justin DeZoete will have friends and family in the building tonight.
Peterborough led the OHL and CHL with 19 shorthanded tallies and will look to be a threat shorthanded in the playoffs.

The theme for the 2022 Petes Playoffs is #AlwaysAThreat. The Petes led the CHL in shorthanded goals, and play with a level of physicality and grit beyond most other teams in the league, making them dangerous in all three zones. Although entering Round 1 as an underdog, the team has shown how strong they can be, especially in the 2nd half of the season. The Petes have outscored opponents 20-7 in the past four games and are ready to strike in the playoffs.
Fans can also purchase a special limited edition playoff t-shirt featuring the 2022 theme #AlwaysAThreat. Season Ticket Members save at the Petes Store, and a special ticket & t-shirt bundle is available for just $45+HST at the Petes Store in-person and online.
