Everything You Need to Know about the 2024 OHL Priority Selection
The 2024 OHL Priority Selection, presented by Real Canadian Superstore, kicks off Friday, April 12 with rounds 1-3, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Rounds 4-15 will follow on Saturday, April 13 starting at 9:00 a.m. The Petes have 15 selections in the draft, two on day one, and 13 on day two.
After the results of the OHL Priority Selection Draft Lottery were finalized on March 27, it was announced that the Peterborough Petes will select third overall. This will be the Petes fifth time selecting third, having previously selected names like Jordan Staal and Matt Spencer at three. In the 2023 OHL Priority Selection, the Petes made 14 selections. They included Bobcaygeon, ON, native and 2024 Ushers Trophy winner Carson Cameron (1/13), forward Joseph Cadorin (4/76), and defenceman Liam Ladds (5/88). For a full list of the Petes 2023 selections, click here.
