100 OHL Alumni competing in 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs
A total of 100 OHL graduates are competing in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs that got underway this past weekend.
The 100 OHL grads are part of a larger group of 193 former CHL players competing, a group that makes up nearly 50% of the 408 players participating in this year’s NHL postseason.
Last year, four OHL grads including Alex Pietrangelo, Mike Amadio, Nicolas Hague and Paul Cotter hoisted the Stanley Cup as players with the Vegas Golden Knights. Vegas also featured former OHL defenceman and head coach Bruce Cassidy behind the bench along with assistant coaches John Stevens, Misha Donskov and a number of other hockey operations staff with OHL connections.
