Pelech

The Erie Otters have announced that defenseman Adam Pelech has been selected to represent the Ontario Hockey League at the 2012 Subway Super Series Monday, November 12 against Team Russia in Sarnia, Ontario. The game will be broadcast live on NHL Network at 7:00 p.m.

Pelech leads Otters defensemen with 19 points in 20 games, which ties him for third among OHL defensemen. The 2012 third round draft pick of the New York Islanders has represented Team Canada on several occasions, most recently at the Canada/Russia Challenge in August.

The Otters are no stranger to the Subway Super Series, with five players having played in the exhibition since 2004. Ryan O’Reilly, Ryan O’Marra, Mike Blunden and Greg McKegg have played for Team OHL while Ramis Sadikov has represented team Russia.
