Dansk Goalie Glove up for Bid on eBay
Erie, Pa. – A three-goal second period by the Kingston Frontenacs keyed the visitors to a 6-3 win over the Erie Otters Sunday afternoon in front of 3,680 fans at Erie Insurance Arena.
Luke Cairns put the Otters on the board six minutes and four seconds into the game as he stole the puck in the slot and fired it through the blocker of Mike Morrison for his 11th goal of the season.
Spencer Watson tied the game at one two minutes and 38 seconds later with his 20th goal of the season.
The Otters regained the lead at 15:10 on J.P. Labardo’s 23rd goal of the season. Troy Donnay set up Labardo at the left circle, where the overager ripped a shot between the legs of Morrison to make it 2-1, Otters.
Sam Bennett evened the score at two with his 14th goal of the season just over two minutes later.
In the second period, the line of Henri Ikonen, Bennett and Watson each scored to give the Frontenacs a 5-2 lead after two periods.
Stephen Harper scored on the power play 7:09 into the third period. Harper shot the puck between the legs of Morrison for his 17th goal of the season.
Cody Alcock sealed the win for the Frontenacs with 5:55 to go as his goal gave Kingston a 6-3 lead.
