Erie Can’t Find Offense in Windsor
WINDSOR, ON – The Otters headed to Windsor Thursday night where they took on the Spitfires for the first of a three-in-three road swing. The game got off to a bit of a slow start, but Windsor broke through with two late goals in the opening period from Daniel D’Amico and Will Cuylle to put them ahead 2-0 heading into the second.
Windsor kept things rolling in the second with an early goal from Cole Purboo to extend the lead to three. Curtis Douglas added another around the midpoint of the frame; and the Otters entered the final frame facing a four goal deficit.
In the third, Jean-Luc Foudy added a goal for Windsor to extend the Spitfire lead to five goals, and the Otters would lose this one 5-0.
The Otters will be back in action tomorrow night in Sarnia where they will take on the Sting at 7:05PM
