Otters Receive Commitment from Oberoi
Erie, Pennsylvania – Erie Otters General Manager Dave Brown announced this evening that the team has received commitment from goaltender Anand Oberoi, who agreed to an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement with the club.
Oberoi, selected by Erie in the 12th round of the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, played with the AAA Nepean Raiders in 2015-16 going 13-9-1-0 with two shutouts. The 6’4”, 175-pound net minder posted a 2.07 goals against average and a .921 save percentage last season. The 17-year-old is a native of Kanata, Ontario.
