2016 Otters Exhibition Game Schedule

Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hockey League today announced the exhibition game schedule for the 2016-17 season.

The schedule includes 44 games beginning on Friday September 2 and ending on Tuesday September 13, 2016.

All 20 OHL clubs will host at least two exhibition games on home ice with the exception of the Hamilton Bulldogs, Mississauga Steelheads, Niagara IceDogs, and Oshawa Generals who will each host two off-site matchups at community rinks.  The Erie Otters will also face the London Knights off-site in Clinton, while the exhibition schedule also includes inter-league play between the Ottawa 67’s and the QMJHL’s Gatineau Olympiques.

The 680-game OHL regular season opens on Wednesday September 21, 2016.

-Thurs. Sept 8 London vs. Erie 7:00 at Clinton

-Sat. Sept 10 Hamilton at Erie 7:00

-Sun. Sept 11 Erie vs. Hamilton 6:00 at Stoney Creek

-Tues. Sept 13 Erie at London 7:00

The 2016 OHL Exhibition Game Schedule is subject to change including the potential for additional games to be added at a later date.  All games will once again be scored online and will appear on the digital schedule closer to the commencement of the pre-season.
