Accettura assigned to Jr. B Wheatfield

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League have announced that defenseman Evan Accettura has been re-assigned to the Wheatfield Blades of the Junior B Golden Horseshoe Hockey League.rrAccettura, who was born June 12, 1992, has not dressed for the Otters this season. The 6-3, 195-lb. defenseman was acquired by Erie from the Brampton Battalion along with a sixth-round selection in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection for forward Sean Jones in August.rrThe Novi, Mich., native was originally drafted by the Battalion in the seventh round of the 2008 OHL Priority Selection. He collected seven points (1g, 6a) in 29 games with the Compuware Under-18 squad last season.rrThe Otters host the Eastern Conference leading Barrie Colts for the only time this season Friday night at 7:00 p.m. The first 2,500 adults 18-and-over will receive a scratch-off lottery ticket from the Pennsylvania Lottery.
