Thomas, MacPherson at Canada’s U-17 Development Camp
Earlier this week, the on-ice practices began for the 111 players at Canada’s National Teams Summer Showcase U-17 Development Camp. Among those in attendance include a pair of IceDogs’ signed prospects in Akil Thomas and Justin MacPherson.
Thomas, who was Niagara’s first round pick in this year’s OHL Priority Selection Draft, will be a member of Team White for the week. While MacPherson, who was the team’s fourth round selection in this year’s draft, will dress for Team Gold at the event.

Players are showcasing themselves for the opportunity to be selected for the 2016 World U-17 Hockey Challenge from October 30 – November 5 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
