IceDogs Sign Aidan Castle
Niagara, On | The Niagara IceDogs are pleased to announce that they have signed Forward, Aidan Castle.
The team acquired the 2020 first-round draft pick through a trade with Oshawa. A 5’11”, 168lb forward, played the 2019-20 season with the Greater Toronto Hockey League’s (GTHL) Toronto Jr. Canadiens. In 62 games, the January 2004-born Mississauga native collected 70 points (35 goals, 35 assists).
General Manager, Joey Burke, shares his excitement.
“This is an incredibly exciting commitment for us. Aidan is a guy we have wanted here since his draft year and to be able to work out a trade this week and sign him today really is a dream come true for our organization. First-round talents are hard to come by at this level and to be able to add a guy who not only fits that bill and plays our style so well but fits in perfectly age-wise, makes this feel like a home run fit for everyone. We couldn’t be more excited to add Aidan into the lineup right away! I couldn’t be more thrilled to officially welcome Aidan and the Castle family to Niagara”.
Welcome to The IceDogs, Aidan!
