IceDogs Land 2nd Overall Pick

NIAGARA, ON – Following the draft lottery, the Niagara IceDogs have been rewarded with the second overall pick for this years OHL Priority Selection Draft.

The IceDogs entered the lottery with the best odds at winning the number one pick, but ultimately fell down to the number two spot. The IceDogs will now have the picks number two and five in the first round. Pick five being rewarded to the IceDogs as compensation from the Sam Dickinson pick in last years draft.

The OHL Priority Selection Draft will begin on Friday April 21st with rounds 1-3 starting at 7PM. Day two of the draft will take place Saturday April 22nd beginning at 9AM. Day two will see rounds 4-15 being completed.
