IceDogs fall to Veteran Petes
The IceDogs played against the veteran Peterborough Petes in front of a loud Meridian Centre crowd this afternoon. The Petes have clinched a playoff spot as they are ranked second in the Eastern Division.
The ‘Dogs came out ready to compete, out shooting the visiting Petes 10 to 5 in the first ten minutes of the game. The Petes offense broke out for three quick ones before the IceDogs found the back of the net. Andrew Bruder playing in his 150th OHL game, gave a spin-o-rama pass to Jonah De Simone in front of the Petes goaltender; Jonah patiently tucked the puck in backhand on the power play to make the score 3-1.
