IceDogs Dunn Signs Entry Level Deal with Blues!
St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced yesterday that the Blues have agreed to terms on a three-year entry-level contract with Niagara IceDogs defenseman Vince Dunn.
Dunn was the St. Louis’ first pick (56th overall) at the 2015 NHL Draft this past summer.
Dunn, 18, dressed in 68 regular season games with the Niagara IceDogs last season, tying for fourth on the club and sixth among all Ontario Hockey League (OHL) defensemen with 56 points (18 goals, 38 assists). In addition, the 6-foot, 188-pound defenseman led all League blueliners with six goals in eight postseason games, helping the IceDogs win their first round playoff series over the Ottawa 67’s.
Dunn also participated in the 2015 CHL Top Prospects Game in front of a hometown crowd at the Meridian Centre.
The entire IceDogs organization would like to congratulate Vince on his signing and we look forward to seeing him back in action with the IceDogs during their season opener in Sudbury tonight!
