Blake Richard Wins MVP
Former Niagara IceDogs goaltender Blake Richard has been named Most Valuable Player of the Golden Horseshoe Conference in the GOJHL.
Richard was presented the Russell Masterson Memorial Trophy on February 23rd, after posting a 21-8 record with a 2.22 goals against average and a .933 save percentage for the Ancaster Avalanche.
The Hamilton, ON native played the 2013-14 season with the IceDogs, where he went 4-5-0-2 with a 4.22 goals against average and a .877 save percentage.
