Team White Secured the Win Once Again in the Final Scrimmage of Training Camp
NIAGARA, ON – Team White takes the grudge match at training camp against Team Black winning 5-3.
Tonights scrimmage was comprised of 2, stop time periods.
Team White came out flying with three unanswered goals from Mike Levin (22), Alex Assadourian (20) and a shorthanded goal from Ivan Galiyanov (25). With time winding down in the first, Team Black started their comeback with the breakaway goal from Jaden Flora (18) assisted by Jacob McMahon( 2) with a stretch pass from the defensive zone.
The 2nd period started just like the 1st with Team White grabbing an early tip in goal from Max Crete (13) all set up by Jack Brauti (10) to capitalize the power-play. Team Black, now down 4-1, started to chip away at the lead with goals from Mathieu Paris (21) as well as Flora (18) scoring his second of the game.
With seconds dwindling down and the goalie pulled, Team Black was looking to tie the game up at 4 to force overtime. Levin put the game out of reach, growing the lead and winning the game for Team White, 5-3.
