Niagara IceDogs to Donate $1 per Ticket Sold on September 8th to Humane Society of Greater Niagara
NIAGARA, ON – The Niagara IceDogs are very happy to announce that $1 from every ticket purchased for our Sunday September 8th Preseason Game v the Brantford Bulldogs, will be donated to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara.
“We are deeply grateful to the Niagara IceDogs for their generous support. This partnership is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and much-needed funds for the animals in our community. We thank the IceDogs and their fans for standing with us in our mission to protect and care for animals in need” stated Cortnie Welychka, Senior Manager of Operations of the Humane Society of Greater Niagara.
The Humane Society of Greater Niagara recently set up at the Niagara IceDogs 2nd Annual Summer Fan Fest last Saturday. They brought along with them their adoption trailer for the event. It is with great excitement to share that one of the Jack Russell Terrier puppies were adopted at the Summer Fan Fest.
“Michele and I are very excited to help support the Humane Society of Greater Niagara by donating a dollar from every ticket sold for our exhibition game this year. This is a great cause.” Noted IceDogs Governor, Darren DeDobbelaer.
We look forward to seeing everyone out on Sunday September 8th for our only preseason home game of the season. The IceDogs will be taking on the Brantford Bulldogs with puck drop slated for 2PM. Be sure to be in your seats early as we look forward to a special ceremonial puck drop with members from the Humane Society of Greater Niagara.
