IceDogs Round Up Homestand and Hit the Road Over the Weekend
NIAGARA, ON – The IceDogs go into this week breaking through the OHL Power Rankings, debuting at sixteen.
The boys finish their six-game homestand on Thursday against Mississauga, in which they have earned 7 of a possible 10 points so far. Thursday’s game is sponsored by Rankin Cancer Run! We will be wearing Rankin Cancer Run themed jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game!
The IceDogs then travel north to finish the weekend, with two games against divisional rivals in the Barrie Colts and the North Bay Battalion. The IceDogs are fresh off beating the Colts 4-1 last Thursday as they only sit three points back of the Colts in the standings. Puck drop in Barrie will be 7:30pm on Saturday. The IceDogs will be in search of their first win over the Battalion this season after dropping the first two contests by one goal each. Puck drop goes at 2:00pm Sunday in North Bay.
