GAME RECAP: IceDogs are defeated by Kitchener 6-0.
The Niagara IceDogs were back at home tonight as the Kitchener Rangers made their only visit to the Meridian Centre of the season. Coming off a big winning weekend against Erie and Barrie, the ‘Dogs are looking to continue their hot streak against one of the top teams in the West.
The Rangers got off to a quick start scoring the first three goals of the game early in the first period. The Rangers extended their lead in the 2nd period to make the score 5-0 heading into the third period. Despite the ‘Dogs best efforts they weren’t able to beat the Rangers’ goaltender. The ‘Dogs dropped this one 6-0.
The ‘Dogs are back in action Friday night as they visit the London Knights looking to get back in the win column.
