IceDogs Host Petes for Bell Let’s Talk Night
Tonight, the IceDogs are back on home ice as they take on the Peterborough Petes in a game presented in support of Bell’s Let’s Talk campaign to raise awareness and end the stigmas attached to mental illnesses.
Featured in tonights game for your IceDogs is recent call-up Bradey Johnson. Johnson signed with the IceDogs in October, and has since played 4 games with the team – after joining them to start the second half of the OHL regular season. Johnson will be looking to collect his all-important first Ontario Hockey League point tonight, in what is sure to be an entertaining game between these rivals.
A Petes forward the IceDogs will need to look out for tonight is the newly acquired Nikita Korostelev. After being traded by the Sting to the Petes to start the new year, Korostelev has played in one game with Peterborough, collecting 1 goal, and 1 assist. The Russian winger is dangerous around the net, and the IceDogs’ emerging defensive corps will need to contain him to be successful tonight.
