KYLE MACLEAN COMMITS TO THE OSHAWA GENERALS
The Oshawa Generals are pleased to announce that Kyle Maclean, their second pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, has committed to the Generals.
The Generals selected the left-winger in the fourth round, 78th overall, on April 11, 2015. Maclean played for the New Jersey Rockets of the T1EHL in the 2014-15 season where he recorded 14 goals and nine assists in 26 games played.
“Kyle’s a player that’s had a number of options with NCAA and USDP, but we’re thrilled that he chose to come to the OHL and the Oshawa Generals as the best possible route to continue to grow as a player and as a student,” says Oshawa Generals General Manager, Roger Hunt. “We’re looking forward to having Kyle back on the ice at the GM Centre for training camp when it opens in September.”
MacLean is quite familiar with the OHL and the Generals. His father, John MacLean, was an Oshawa native and played for the Generals from 1981-1984.
Keep an eye out for MacLean at this year’s training camp, in September 2015.
