Generals trade Templeton to North Bay
The Oshawa Generals have made a trade with the North Bay Battalion for veteran defencemen Stephen Templeton, in return the Generals will receive a 10th round draft pick.
Templeton has been a part of Oshawa’s team for over three seasons now and has been a strong asset to the team. He has played 126 games as a General and has tallied 3 goals and 12 assists. He has been a strong force on the defensive line and will be a strong addition to North Bay.
“As our numbers have grown, I had not planned on having an extra defencemen playing on our fourth line, and Stephen will be going to North Bay and transferring back to his natural position as a defencemen” says Roger Hunt Vice President and General Manger.
We want to thank Stephen for his efforts and dedication as he leaves the Generals as a Memorial Cup Champion and we wish him all the best.
