Round 1 Game 6: Oshawa in Barrie with series win in sight
Oshawa, Ont. – The Oshawa Generals are making their return to the Sadlon Arena where they hope to bounce back from a Friday evening loss and take this series home. This Round currently sits at 3-2 in favour of the Generals.
Last Friday night the Generals hosted the Colts in front of a packed TCC barn with hopes to close out Round 1. With the most entertaining scoreless two periods yet, the scoreboard did not budge until there were just under five minutes in regulation time. Barrie broke the deadlock when Bode Stewart found Kashawn Aitcheson on the back door tapping it in making it 1-0 Colts late. Shaking up the Generals, an extra man advantage could not suffice as the Colts continued with two more empty net points.
The last two visits to Barrie, the Generals came out victorious and they will need to get back on their momentum tonight.
