Oshawa Generals Acquire Goalie Kyle Keyser from the Flint Firebirds

The Oshawa Generals have acquired 1999 Goaltender Kyle Keyser from the Flint Firebirds in exchange for Flints 2nd round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Draft.
Last season with the Firebirds Kyle appeared in 17 games, recorded a 0.880 save percentage and won the OHL’s Ivan Tennant Memorial Award for Top High School Academic Player. Kyle will be eligible for the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
“We are really excited to have an NHL Draft Eligible goalie entering the season. Logan Gauthier is currently injured and we may have a crowded crease.” said Roger Hunt, Vice President and General Manager of the Oshawa Generals. “Kyle will further strengthen our depth at the most important position for a number of seasons. We are very excited to welcome him to the Generals.”
