Generals hope to bounce back versus Knights
Oshawa, Ont., – The Oshawa Generals are looking to bounce back after a tough 7-2 loss to the Flint Firebirds when they take on the London Knights.
The Gens are coming off their largest home loss of the season, it is also tied for the most goals the team has allowed in a game. Oshawa is now sitting second in the Eastern Division after dropping their last two games.
London enters this one as the hottest team in the league having picked up points in 22 straight games. After losing back-to-back games in a shootout, the Knights have rattled off six wins in a row.
Last Meeting
It is the first meeting of two this season, but it was the Generals taking down the Knights 5-3 in London last season.
After falling down two goals Oshawa would battle back to tie the game in the second period, but it was London jumping in front to start the third before the Gens scored three unanswered to put the game to rest.
The Generals got points from Ben Danford, Calum Ritchie, and Stuart Rolofs as they each picked up an assist in the win.

Ben Danford: The draft-eligible defenceman is fifth on the team in assists this season having accumulated 30 so far this year adding one goal for 31 points in 50 games. A cornerstone on the Gens blueline he was invited to the 2024 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Games where he picked up an assist.

Easton Cowan: The Toronto Maple Leafs prospect owns the longest point streak in the league at 20 games. Over that span the winger has picked up 41 points including 15 goals and 26 assists.
