Tyson Foerster Is Returning to Barrie
The Philadelphia Flyers & Lehigh Valley Phantoms have loaned 20-year-old Tyson Foerster back to Barrie.
The Alliston, ON native was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1st Round 23rd overall in the 2020 NHL Draft. Foerster has played the past two seasons in the AHL for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Over the two seasons, he has registered 20 points (12 Goals, 8 Assists) across 33 games played.
Foerster was originally drafted by the Colts in the 3rd Round 55th overall in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection Draft. Through his two seasons with the Colts, he accumulated 103 points (46 Goals, 57 Assists) over 126 games. Finishing with 62 games played in the 2019-20 season, Foerster led the team in both goals (36) and points (80).
