Pair of Colts Defencemen Invited to Hockey Canada Camps!

Colts rookie, Beau Akey, and Colts Captain, Brandt Clarke, have been invited to participate in Hockey Canada’s National Summer Camps in Calgary.

Akey was selected to participate in the U18 Camp, being one of fourteen defencemen invited. He previously suited up for Hockey Canada in the first annual Capital City Challenge which took place in late November, collecting two points across five games played.

Clarke has been invited to participate in the World Junior Selection Camp. Brandt previously played for Hockey Canada in the U17 & U18 tournaments. Most notably helping Canada capture U18 gold and picking up First Team All-Star recognition.

The 2022 WJC Championship is set to begin on August 9th in Edmonton after it was forced to be cancelled earlier in December due to COVID-19.
