Colts Deal MacDougall and DeSanctis to Windsor for Picks

Barrie, ON– Barrie Colts General Manager & Head Scout Jason Ford announced today that they have completed 2 trades with the Western Conference, Windsor Spitfires.

In the first deal the Colts acquired a 14^th Round Pick in 2018 + Conditional 4^th Round Pick in 2020 (BAR) for forward Mathew MacDougall. In the second deal the Colts send Windsor Vincent DeSanctis + 15^th Round Pick in 2021 for a 15^th Round Pick in 2021 + Conditional 11^th Round Pick in 2019.

MacDougall was the Barrie Colts 3rd round pick (58^th overall) in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection draft. The 17 year old played at St. Andrew’s College last year picking up 37 points in 58 games.

DeSanctis was the Barrie Colts 13^th round pick (256^th overall) in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection Draft. The 17 year old played with the P.A.L Jr. Islanders 18U team last year, tallying 7 points in 15 games.
