BARRIE COLTS SIGN FREE AGENT DAVID BURRI

The Barrie Colts have signed free agent David Burri to a Standard Player Agreement.

2003 born defenceman Burri is from Lake Worth, Florida, stands 6’2” and weighs in at 198 pounds.

David last played for the Davos U20 in Switzerland. During 37 games played during the 2020/2021 season, Burri totalled 11 points between 2 goals and 9 assists. He also tailed up 49 PIM.

“David is a great addition to our defence. He has played for Switzerland U17 and U18 teams. He’s a big defender who is a great skater. Born in Florida, he’s used to smaller rinks. We are very excited with our free agent signing”, commented newly appointed GM and Head Coach, Marty Williamson.
