BARRIE COLTS ANNOUNCE FUN ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS LEARNING FROM HOME
Throughout this school year, learning has been different. Teachers, students and parents have all had to adapt to a new style of learning.
Here at the Barrie Colts, we recognize the importance of learning and the importance of maintaining balance. We would like to commend all of the teachers, students and parents that have adapted during these difficult times.
To help just a little, we’ve created the following exercises that parents can use as fun activities to stimulate their children while learning at home, including: word searches, word unscrambles and colouring pages.
And, we are running a CONTEST!
Have your son or daughter complete any of the colouring pages, and then email us to be entered in a draw to win four (4) tickets to a Barrie Colts home game, once we are playing again. Barrie Colts hockey will be back!
To enter the CONTEST:
1. Complete a colouring page
2. Email the completed colouring page to [email protected] along with the following information (name, age, phone number)
3. Contest runs until June 30th. Winners will be contacted after the contest closes.
A very special thank you to all of the teachers, students and parents for adapting to a learning from home model. Soon, kids and teachers will be back at school and we can’t wait to see you all back at the rink!
