Harrison returns to Brampton
BRAMPTON, Ont. – The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Wednesday that defenceman Jay Harrison would be returning to the Battalion.

Harrison, who was selected by the Leafs in the third round of the 2001 NHL Draft, was one of eight players returned to their junior teams. Defencemen Carlo Colaiacovo of the Erie Otters and Brendan Bell of the Ottawa 67´s are among the players who have been returned as the Leafs training camp continues in Toronto.

Harrison, who scored a goal and received praise for his physical play during the Leafs´ recent Rookie Camp, joins centre Jay McClement and winger Ryan Bowness as Battalion players who have returned to Brampton from NHL camps.

There are four players, Aaron Van Leusen, Travis Parent, Chris Rowan and Paul Flache, still at NHL training camps as the Battalion prepares for its season opener on Sunday against Erie.
